庭や犬舎の悪臭は、経年で蓄積された尿酸・尿素・タンパク・脂肪酸などが原因です。 これらの汚染物質を餌に、特に湿度が高くなるとマラセチア菌などが異常発生し、 雑菌が出すガスが悪臭の原因となります。「蓄積尿臭」は植物系や塩素系の消臭方法 では効果が薄く、表面だけの消臭にとどまり、数時間経過するとまた臭い始めます。
本品はこの悪臭メカニズムに着目し、光合成菌（シアノバクテリア等）を利用する 方法を採択しました。バクテリアコントローラで汚染箇所に光合成菌（人畜無害） を吸着及び増殖させ（約５日目がピーク）、汚染物質とともに「匂い菌」「カビ菌」 などを根こそぎ分解し、画期的な超ロングラン消臭を実現させるとともに、芝生や 花壇や菜園を生き生きとさせます。
